Westchester Middle School Student Facing Charges After Alleged Knife Incident
A teenage middle school student in New Rochelle was arrested by police last month following an alleged incident with a knife. Police said that a 13-year-old Isaac E. Young Middle School student was arrested on charges of menacing and attempted assault following the incident on Jan. 30. The incident was first reported by lohud. The student was reportedly referred to Family Court. "A student brandished a knife at Isaac E. Young Middle School on January 30," interim Schools Superintendent Magda Parvey said in a statement.
