Commuters will soon have to plan ahead to avoid being impacted by a closed ramp on a busy Westchester County parkway. Starting between 10 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 14, and 5 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 15, the ramp from the westbound Cross County Parkway to the southbound Saw Mill River Parkway in Yonkers will close, according to New York Department of Transportation officials. Teen Duo Nabbed In Westchester With Gun Following Chase, Police Say
Two teens were nabbed for allegedly having a weapon following a chase in Northern Westchester. The incident took place on Wednesday, Sept. 7 on the Saw Mill River Parkway in Mount Pleasant. According to the Westchester County Police, officers attempted to stop the teens after receiving notice from the state police they were driving a vehicle without a license. Lane Closure Planned For Stretch Of I-684 In Westchester County
State officials are alerting motorists about a planned lane closure on a busy stretch of I-684. The New York State Department of Transportation said the right lane southbound is set to close between Exit 5 (Saw Mill River Parkway) and Exit 6 (State Route 35) in Bedford to facilitate bridge maintenance. The lane closure is scheduled to be implemented between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 17, officials said.

A Westchester man has been charged with felony DWI after he was intercepted driving the wrong way on the Saw Mill River Parkway while drunk, according to police.
