A total of five suspects, including four adolescent juveniles and a Fairfield County man, face charges in connection with a string of shooting incidents in Westchester, one of which left a 19-year-old victim dead.
The four shootings, which authorities believe to be gang-related, happened in Yonkers over the months of March, May, and June, and resulted in the arrests of four teenagers and a 20-year-old man, according to Yonkers Police.

Man Admits To Hate Crime After Hitting Asian Woman 125 Times In Westchester Attack, DA Says
A Westchester man has pleaded guilty to committing a violent hate crime against a 67-year-old Asian woman who was entering her home.
District Attorney Miriam E. Rocah announced that Yonkers resident Tammel Esco, age 42, pleaded guilty on Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2022, to committing a violent hate crime on Friday, March 11 against the woman who was entering her apartment building.
According to court documents, Esco cursed at the victim, punched her around 125 times in and around her head, repeatedly stomped on her upper body, and spit on her.

'Probie' Helps Deliver Baby Girl On First Run As Firefighter In Westchester
A "probie" (probationary) firefighter got more than he bargained for on his first shift, the delivery of a baby.
The delivery took place around 7:27 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 14, on Riverdale Avenue, said Yonkers Deputy Chief Joseph Citrone.
According to the chief, members from engine company 303 from Station 3 on Vark St. including Capt. Chris Canfield, FF Tom Kilduff, FF Tom Halpin, and Probationary FF Michael Iacovello delivered a baby girl.
"That was PFF Iacovello’s first tour in the firehouse," Citrone said.

A 22-year-old man was arrested following a shooting at a local bar and a wild police pursuit throughout the Westchester area.
Tony Orlando Saez, of Yonkers, was arrested following the 4 a.m. shooting on Sunday, Nov. 17 at the Eclipse Bar on Riverdale Avenue, said Yonkers Police Det. Lt. Dean Politopoulos.
According to Politopoulos, members of the Yonkers Police 3rd Precinct were at the station house at 435 Riverdale Ave., when they became aware of a commotion outside at the Eclipse Bar.
