A pair of men have admitted to their roles in a “complex identity fraud scheme” that allowed them to fraudulently “purchase” and possess high-end vehicles from car dealerships throughout Westchester. Suspect Sentenced After Admitting To Stealing Cars From Westchester Dealerships
A felon is facing up to seven years in prison after admitting to stealing three cars from Westchester County auto dealerships by stealing peoples' identities. New York City resident Milton Alequin, 23, has been sentenced as a second felony offender to a term of three and a half to seven years in prison following a guilty plea to grand larceny in June. He must also pay the dealerships $133,913 for two cars that were never recovered. All of the thefts came in February.
