An officer from the Scarsdale Police Department was traveling east on Mamaroneck Road at approximately 5:50 a.m. when he came to a stop at a red light at the intersection of Palmer Avenue. Police said that the officer spotted two vehicles stopped at the intersection in front of him for an extended period of time - even after the light turned green. An officer from the Scarsdale Police Department on patrol near the intersection of Heathcote Road and Palmer Avenue stopped Bronx resident John Adorno at approximately 5:10 p.m. on Friday, March 29, when an alarm sounded that his vehicle had a suspended or revoked registration.
