Man Accidentally Locks Small Children Inside SUV In Westchester A fast-acting police officer came to the rescue of a father who accidentally locked a pair of children inside an SUV in Northern Westchester. The North Castle Police Department received a report shortly after 1:15 p.m. on Monday, May 28 from a man who said that he had inadvertently locked the doors to his Audi SUV with two children inside on Old Route 22 in Armonk. An officer was dispatched to the area, who was able to locate the driver and vehicle, and confirmed that the two small children appeared to be in good condition at the time. Changes Afoot For Armonk Business Landscape Downtown Armonk is seeing a changing of the guard. Two longtime businesses, The Right Thing and Sheep Shack, are shutting their doors, while a host of new businesses will be opening soon. Sheep Shack, which has sold women's clothes at 418 Main St. for 42 years will be closing at the end of February as its owner, Ronnie Zeidenberg, plans on retiring. "It's been a very lucrative 42 years," Zeidenberg, who lives in Armonk, said. "I have wonderful customers, but it's time for me to move on. This is the right time."
