Small Plane From Westchester County Airport Crashes Onto HS Baseball Field A pilot and passenger were injured and hospitalized when a small plane flying out of Westchester County Airport lost power and crashed onto a baseball field in Connecticut. Connecticut State Police troopers responded to the Wilcox Technical High School in Meriden shortly before 7:20 p.m. on Thursday, April 11, after the four-seater, single-engine plane went down on state property.
