Man Impersonating Cop Demands Money From Westchester Resident, Police Say A man impersonating a police officer attempted to shake down a local resident, demanding money before New York State Police troopers intervened. Troopers were called to the Woodybrook neighborhood in Cortlandt on Tuesday, Dec. 4, where there was a report of a man claiming to be a police officer, demanding money.
