Missing 3-Year-Old Boy Found Dead, Swept Downstream In River In Westchester A missing 3-year-old boy was found dead in the Mamaroneck River on Thursday, Feb. 27, after apparently falling in and drowning, authorities said. According to the Village of Mamaroneck Police Department, officers learned of a missing child who had left his home earlier that day at around 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. His 54-year-old uncle and 85-year-old grandfather searched for him but could not find him.
