Woman Charged With Attempted Murder After Victim Found With Knife Lodged In Back In Westchester A woman is in police custody after allegedly stabbing a man in the back in Westchester, police said. Officers from the New Rochelle Police Department were dispatched to the intersection of Main Street and Echo Avenue shortly after 8:45 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 3, where there was a report of a stabbing. A New Rochelle Police Department spokesperson said that upon arrival, officers found a 38-year-old Hispanic man who was conscious and on the sidewalk in “extreme pain.” Police said that the man had been stabbed in the back and sustained serious injuries.
