Police: Man Used Fake ID To Try To Cash $8.8K Check At Bank In Westchester A 42-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly attempting to use another person's identity to cash a check for more than $8,000 at a Northern Westchester bank. Christian Maldonado, of Yonkers, was arrested on Tuesday, Feb. 4, by Yorktown Police for identity theft, two counts of using a forged instrument, and attempted grand larceny, said the Yorktown Police. Man Caught Using Fake License To Try To Steal $7K From Northern Westchester Bank, Police Say A man already in custody at the Putnam County Jail is facing new charges after allegedly attempting to steal thousands of dollars from Key Bank in Northern Westchester. A Yorktown Police detective was dispatched to Key Bank in the Jefferson Valley Mall on May 2, to investigate an attempted larceny. Police said that the investigation determined that on April 28, Bronx resident Victor Reveron used a forged license while allegedly attempting to steal $7,000 from the bank.
