The family of a Dobbs Ferry man who was killed by a car driven by an intoxicated off-duty New Rochelle police officer has filed a lawsuit against the officer and three Westchester bars that the two frequented before the fatal crash. WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. - An off-duty New Rochelle police officer who was drinking before he crashed his vehicle last year, killing his best friend, has been sentenced for his role in the fatal incident. Harry Kyreakedes, 28, has been sentenced to a term between two and a half and seven and a half years in state prison after pleading guilty in October to a felony charge of first-degree vehicular manslaughter and aggravated driving while intoxicated.
