Formerly known as Eileen’s Country Kitchen, the eatery was initially established in 1997 by Eileen Mannion. After shutting down its kitchen last week, Tighe’s Tavern on Martine Avenue in White Plains has announced it will be closing its doors on Sunday, Feb. 17 after nearly a century in Westchester. Last call will be at approximately 4 a.m. The popular pub has been operating in the area since 1935, serving a series of regulars in the area cold beer and traditional bar food such as burgers and traditional Irish dishes.
