12-Year-Old Dies After Accidental Shooting In Westchester The 12-year-old boy who accidentally shot himself in the head with an illegal handgun in Westchester has died from his wound, police said. Officers from the Yonkers Police Department were dispatched to a Nepperhan Avenue apartment shortly before midnight on Saturday, April 13, where there was a report of a child who was bleeding from the head.
