Person Hospitalized After Car Rollover In Westchester
A person was sent to a hospital after becoming trapped in a rolled-over car in Northern Westchester. The incident happened on Friday, Sept. 15 around 7:40 a.m., when firefighters responded to a rolled-over vehicle in a driveway on West Mount Airy Road in Cortlandt. According to the Croton-on-Hudson Fire Department, arriving crews helped the trapped driver out of the flipped car and brought them into the care of first responders. Authorities have begun an investigation into a shooting incident that left a man injured at a residence in Westchester, police said. The incident happened on Monday, Aug. 21 just before 2 p.m., when Yonkers Police officers responded to a residence on West Delano Avenue after receiving a report that someone had been shot, according to Detective Sergeant Frank DiDomizio. A person was sent to the hospital after their vehicle smashed into a pole in Northern Westchester, snapping it completely. The incident happened on Wednesday, June 28 around 8:45 a.m., when firefighters in Somers were sent to Amawalk Road, where a car had crashed into a pole, according to the Somers Volunteer Fire Department.
