Flaming Fridge Starts Blaze At Housing Complex In Westchester A fire started by a refrigerator in the garage of a residence at a housing complex in Northern Westchester could have been much worse if not for the quick action of the homeowner, fire officials said.   The incident happened on Wednesday, June 21 just after 12:30 a.m., when firefighters from the Somers Volunteer Fire Department were sent to the Green Briar housing complex on a report of smoke pouring out of a residence.  According to the department, firefighters soon found smoke coming from the garage of a residence.
