Nypd Officer From Westchester Killed During Hand-To-Hand Struggle With Armed Suspect An NYPD officer from Westchester was fatally shot in a hand-to-hand struggle with an armed suspect overnight. It happened just after 12:30 Sunday, Sept. 29 at the Edenwald Houses in the Bronx. The officer, Brian Mulkeen, was 33 and lived in Yorktown Heights with his girlfriend, who is also a police officer in the Bronx in the 44th precinct. Over the last several weeks, investigators with the Gang Unit developed information on the whereabouts of Rahkim "Flee" Shealy, and on Thursday night, Yonkers Police detectives placed him into custody without incident at a location on Orchard Place. Shealy, of Yonkers, was booked on charges of conspiracy, menacing and criminal possession of a weapon and arraigned today at the Westchester County Court. Westchester Grocery Store Raided By FBI The FBI raided a Westchester grocery store on Thursday as part of an investigation into gang and drug activity. Members of the FBI were spotted entering the Supermercado Mexico supermarket on Union Avenue in New Rochelle at approximately 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 11. According to reports, agents were seen taking boxes of evidence from the location and arrests have been made.
