Biden To Be Keynote Speaker At Commencement Ceremony In Connecticut President Joe Biden is scheduled to deliver the keynote address during graduation ceremonies in Connecticut at the Coast Guard Academy this month. The event, which takes place at 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 19, on Cadet Memorial Field in New London, will be the second time Biden has delivered the address. The first was in 2013 when he was serving as vice president. "It will be a memorable event for our community, as well as a great opportunity to showcase the academy and the city of New London on a national stage," Rear Adm. Dr. John Alexander, Chiropractor In Area, Dies Suddenly At 58 Dr. John A. Alexander, a chiropractor in the Hudson Valley, died suddenly on Sunday, Oct. 25 at the age of 58.  Alexander, a resident of Mahopac, was born on Feb. 6, 1962, in New York City, the son of John and Braulia (Alvino) Alexander.  John attended Life Chiropractic College in Marietta, Georgia where earned his doctorate in chiropractic medicine.  On April 4, 1992, he married Phyllis Spaccarelli at St. John The Evangelist Church in Mahopac.  "John loved being a chiropractor and loved his patients," his obituary said.
