Inmate Pleads Guilty To Assaulting Officers At Westchester County Jail An inmate at the Westchester County Jail is set to spend more time behind bars after admitting to assaulting a pair of corrections officers in separate incidents in the past year. John Wooten, an inmate at the jail, has pleaded guilty to two counts of assault for attacking officers in December last year and in January. Wooten was being held at the jail on a felony criminal mischief charge dating back to an incident last December at the Grasslands Homeless Shelter in Valhalla. Wooten is scheduled to be sentenced on Nov. 14, when he will face seven years in state prison for each charge. The g…
