TUCKAHOE, N.Y. Tuckahoes journey in search of a New York State Class C boys basketball title goes through upstate New Paltz when the Tigers face Long Islands East Rockaway in the state regional championship game at 2:45 p.m. Saturday.

A victory Saturday will send the Tigers to next weekends New York State Class C Final four in upstate Glens Falls, where two victories will produce a state championship.
The still-perfect Tigers, who represent Section 1 (Westchester, Putnam and Rockland counties), ran their unbeaten record to 22-0 with the win versus Pine Plains in a game that was tied at 28 before Tuckahoe took control of the game in the second half against a much taller Pine Plains team.
Williams, the Tigers all-time leading scorer with more than 1,300 points, led the way with 35 points in the regional semifinal, but he had scoring help from forward Justin Nolan and guards Shyheim Nixon and Tyler Freire, as well as inside support from Mark Raymond, who is the teams leading rebounder.
We had some trouble with their (Pine Plains) height, Williams said. We know we can score points. But we have to rebound and play defense to keep winning. We are playing as a team and we want to go to Glens Falls.
East Rockaway (15-8), the Section 8 and Long Island representative, boasts a good front line with senior forward Justin Jonas and junior Dylan Delury, who led the way to a 63-47 victory against Section 11s Pierson in its regional semifinal win. Jonas scored 13 and DeLury added 12. Guards Mikey Lores and David McClure run the offense for the Rocks.
