Trio Leads Concordia Women's Tennis to Victory

BRONXVILLE, N.Y. -- Clara Catanzano, Juliana Frey and Maria Ortiz all won two matches, Friday, leading the Concordia women’s tennis team to a 6-3 victory over visiting Goldey-Beacom.Concordia ran its record to 4-0.Catanzano, playing third singles, Frey at fourth singles and Ortiz playing fifth singles, swept their respective opponents. The trio returned to take the three doubles matches.Catanzano teamed with Yuliya Plevako in first doubles, Frey and Anna S.O. Mendes won second doubles and Ortiz and Camila Ortiz triumphed in third doubles.
