Conway and Bronxville Rush Past Rye Neck

MAMARONECK, N.Y. – Christian Conway continued his dominance over defenders Saturday, rushing for 240 yards and four touchdowns to lead Bronxville to its fourth straight win in a 34-14 victory over Rye Neck.

Bronxville (4-0), the defending Class C state champion, won its 23nd straight Section 1 victory and 16th overall, including state playoff games, while Rye Neck fell to 4-0.

Bronco’s placekicker/running back/linebacker Jack Grass made four of four extra-point kicks and a 32-yard field goal.

Conway has had two 200-plus yard games this season and has gained more than 700 yards and scored 11 touchdowns in four games.

Bronxville will seek a fifth straight win when it visits Rockland’s Albertus Magnus Sunday at 6 p.m., while Rye Neck (0-4) travels to Hastings (1-3).
