PHILADELPHIA, Pa. The Concordia College womens' soccer team faced off against Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) opponent Philadelphia University Saturday with the host Rams rolling to a 6-0 victory.
The Clippers were held without a shot as the Rams were able to put 11 of their 16 shots on net.
Concordia goalkeeper Jessica Nanan (Queens, N.Y.) made five saves in the loss. Philadelphia had six different goal scorers in the game.
Trisha Sielo got the first goal of the game only 2:44 into play. Janine Cascio, Kristen Ferguson, Dana Rokoszak and Carla Chmielewski all scored their goals in the first half. Nicole Van Bourgondien added the final goal at the 68th minute for the Rams third win of the year.
Concordia (2-3, 0-2 CACC) will next play at home Tuesday against conference foe C.W. Post in a 3 p.m. kickoff.
