SCARSDALE, N.Y. Nicola Phillips and Morgan Nobles led the way Tuesday as the Bronxville girls cross country team won its first tri-meet over teams from Edgemont and Pelham at Edgemont High School.
Phillips ran a 19:45 over the three-mile course to take second place overall, three seconds ahead of teammate Morgan Nobles (19:48) who placed third. Hilary Rizzo (19:51) placed fourth overall, Delia Hayes (19:55) fifth and Saige Sunier 21:29) took ninth as the Broncos girls scored 23 team points to lead Pelham (35) and Edgemont (69)
The Broncos top runners, who seldom run in varsity dual and tri-meets, did not participate in the meet.
