Every year the foundation raises money to support projects that help students in kindergarten through grade 12. Since its inception in 1991, the foundation has awarded more than $5.2 million in grants, such as $35,000 to buy 90 Kindle eReaders.
Requests are welcome from school faculty, staff, administrators, students, parents, and community members.
“We look forward to receiving grant applications that will foster a challenging, creative, and enriched educational environment for Bronxville students,” said Grants Committee head Christine Fitzgibbons. “The Committee is happy to provide help in developing and researching ideas.”
