The Director of Security at Concordia reported to Bronxville Police on Wednesday, July 19 that seven laptops had been delivered to the college and picked up an unknown person, who made off with the devices.
Police said that the suspect provided the college with fraudulent credentials in an effort to steal the laptops and it was later determined that the college did not actually order any laptops.
According to police, detectives are working to identify the origin of the purchase. The incident remains under investigation.
