Shortly before 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 9, officers stopped Bronx resident Kelvonte Colclough on White Plains Road when he failed to stop for a red light.
Police said that during the subsequent stop, an inquiry on Colclough’s driving record determine he had six active suspensions on his license for various offenses. He was subsequently arrested and processed at Bronxville Police Headquarters on a charge of aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. He was also cited for having a suspended registration, failing to turn as required, operating a motor vehicle without insurance and uninspected vehicle.
Colclough released on his own recognizance and his 1998 Chevy Astro van was impounded He is due back in court on Dec. 20 to answer the charges.
