YONKERS N.Y. Motorists planning to use the Bronx River Parkway southbound Wednesday after 10 a.m. should be prepared for heavy delays.
Two southbound lanes of the Bronx River Parkway will be closed near the Sprain Brook Parkway merge and the Midland Avenue Bridge in Yonkers from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The closings are necessary for crews to replace roadway traffic sensors. County officials say delays are expected, and advise drivers to seek other routes.
