Bronxville Fans Predict Big Giants Super Bowl Win

BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – The crew at Fogarty's in Bronxville will be cheering for the New York Giants this Sunday, even those that have to remember that football is not soccer.

"The Giants are going to go all the way," said Gary Mellon, who hails from County Tyrone, in Ireland.

Many locals are very excited and enthusiastic about Big Blue's chances inside the dome in Indianapolis, Ind.  against the New England Patriots. "I will jump up on the bar and shake my butt when the Giants win," said John Murphy, also a native of Ireland. "I've signed myself up for many football pools."

Margaret Delladonna, of Eastchester says her heart belongs to the New York Yankees, but she will be rooting for the hometown team on Sunday.

"The Giants are going to win," Delladonna said. "They are going to go all the way."

Maureen Stevens said the Giants have been on a roll.

"The Giants have been doing very well, this is going to be their day," Stevens said. "But it is going to be a very close game."

The ladies also admitted to looking forward to seeing Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz, do his victory dance.

Although he caught 82 passes this season, that is not what the ladies will be looking for. "We can't wait to see him dance," Delladonna said.

On the other side of the ball none of the New England Patriots are dancers, but quarterback Tom Brady has thrown 300 touchdowns in his career and is married to supermodel Gisele Bundchen.

"The Giants are still going to win, no matter what," Delladonna predicts.

Kickoff is at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 5.
