Concordia Alumni Raise More Than $1,000 To Support Team Adriana

BRONXVILLE, N.Y. -- The Concordia alumni baseball and softball teams had their annual games as fundraisers for The Memorial Sloan Kettering Pediatric Leukemia Research fund in Adriana's Avile's name.

Adriana Aviles, the four-year daughter of alumnus Mike Avile, was diagnosed with leukemia in May, and is undergoing treatment at the Cleveland Clinic. Her father plays baseball for the Cleveland Indians.

The teams collected donations and sold T-shirts for $20 and wristbands for $2. They raised $1,045.
