Bronxville's Nigro-Nullet Dies at 73

BRONXVILLE, N.Y. - Eleanor Nigro-Nullet, a retired office manager and resident of Bronxville, died on Oct. 17. She was 73.

Born in Mt. Vernon on Apr. 27, 1938, she was the daughter of Augustine and Concetta Nigro. She worked as office manager for Nigro Brother's Construction Company for over 30 years. In 1980, she married the late Edward Nullet.

Described as a caring and charitable woman by her family, she was fond of flowers and taking photos during every occasion.

Nigro-Nullet is survived by her step-daughter Pamela Nullet, her brother Joseph Nigro and her sisters Yoland Bambara and Linda Nigro. She was predeceased by her husband Edward, her sister Mary and her brothers John Nigro, August Nigro and Peter Nigro.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday at Yannantuono Burr Davis Sharpe Funeral Home in Mount Vernon. A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday at St. Peter & Paul Church in Mt. Vernon, with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in New Rochelle. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or the Lustgarten Foundation, 1111 Stewart Avenue, Bethpage, NY 11714.
