BRONXVILLE, N.Y. - Charles C. Huber, a longtime resident of Bronxville, died Jan. 18. He was 80.
Raised and educated in Mt. Vernon, Mr. Huber graduated from Hamilton College in Clinton, N.Y. He then spent his career as a buyer for J.C. Penney Company. He volunteered at Lawrence Hospital Center and The Reformed Church in Bronxville.
Mr. Huber was passionate about sports and dogs. He also enjoyed playing bridge and is remembered by family for his sense of humor.
He is survived by his wife Mary Huber, his daughters Betsy (Jason) Port and Mary (Adam) Zoghlin, his son John Charles (Karen) Huber and seven grandchildren.
Memorial visitation will be held at the Fred H. McGrath & Son Funeral Home in Bronxville. from 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday at The Reformed Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
