Celebration 2013: Raising the Roof on a New Cancer Center, which will be held on Thursday, Nov. 21 at Brae Burn Country Club in Purchase, will honor Drs. Dan Costin, Mark Fialk, Mark Gordon, Herb Gretz, Seth Lerner, Sara Sadan and Randy Stevens.
The evening will also be a celebration of the exciting initiatives on the horizon. Currently, renovations are underway in the White Plains Hospital’s Dickstein Cancer Treatment Center (DCTC) and construction of a new medical office building adjacent to DCTC will begin in 2014. When it is completed in early 2015, the cancer program will have doubled its size, adding space for infusion, physician offices and patient amenities.
Celebration 2013: Raising the Roof begins at 6:30 p.m. and will feature cocktails, a lavish buffet, raffle prizes and live entertainment.
“The evening is one of White Plains Hospital’s most celebrated events, with all of this year’s proceeds benefiting the Hospital’s Cancer Program,” said event co-chair Cindy Frenchman.
“We are honored to have had a hand in planning this event and we look forward to celebrating our esteemed honorees at what promises to be a most festive evening," added Nancy Gilbert, event co-chair.
The Auxiliary of White Plains Hospital is made up of more than 800 dedicated individuals with a mission to promote and advance the welfare of the institution. Members proudly and passionately serve as advocates for the Hospital, organizing and overseeing several fundraising and outreach events in the community and contributing thousands of volunteer hours every year. Many also serve on the Hospital’s Board of Directors.
