Avery Acevedo was born to Yrmina Acevedo at 2:28 a.m. on Sunday. The baby girl was 8 pounds, 1 ounce and 19 inches long. She was delivered by Dr. Regina Fitzgerald of Westchester-Bronx OB/GYN Group.
Ms. Acevedo is from Bronx, NY and has two other daughters, ages 18 and 16. She is a staffing analyst with the Fire Department of the City of New York.
