The cost is $350 per camper per week. All who attend and their families may take part in the “Family Camping” event scheduled for July 18.

“River Adventures,” a session for 10- to 13-year-olds, will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 7-11. “Nature Adventures,” a session for 6- to 9-year-olds, will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 14-18. River Adventures is planned to help children learn more about nature through activities in the Hudson River and surrounding area.
They will see marine life at Piermont Marsh, go fishing on the Island Current fishing boat, and go kayaking on the Yonkers shoreline. Nature Adventures activities will include investigation of birds, fish, insects and reptiles in the Center for the Urban River at Beczak community, garden and beach.
There will also be trips to Greenburgh Nature Center, Piermont Marsh and The Science Barge. CURB is a park on the riverfront that includes a tidal marsh and a beach. It is near the Riverfront Library, and an easy walk from Yonkers Metro-North station, Hudson line.
