Natalie Warren was one of the first two women to paddle from Minneapolis to the Hudson Bay. She will give a one-hour talk about her expedition and what it meant to her.

"One of my favorite aspects of the trip was how many people came out of the woodwork to support and encourage us along our journey," she said.

The presentation will include adventure stories and anecdotes, including observations along the Minnesota River and paddling Lake Winnipeg. She will also talk about women's empowerment, the power of community and achieving physical and emotional strength.

Natalie was nominated for Canoe & Kayak's 2012 Expedition of the Year. Her goal is to encourage people to pursue their passions and find greater opportunities for themselves and their communities.
