The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. A limited supply of teddy bears will be on hand for those who do not have their own.

The Ted E. Bear Hospital will give children a chance to familiarize themselves with the happenings of an Emergency Department, hospital staff and procedures. Organized by White Plains Hospital’s Emergency Department nurses, this "Stuffed Animal Hospital" will teach kids about healthcare in a fun, positive way, alleviating fears of the hospital.

There will be a lot to do and learn including free refreshments, coloring books, and valuable information on a variety of children's safety topics.
