Bronxville Village Board of Trustees: 6:30 p.m., the workshop meeting beginning at 6:30 p.m. and the regular meeting at 8 p.m., 200 Pondfield Road. 

DSLR Camera Workshop: 7 p.m. A workshop on how to move past the "auto" mode on your DSLR. The class costs $55. The Bronxville Adult School, 177 Pondfield Road.

Aromatherapy Workshop: 7 p.m. A workshop on the history and the practical use of aromatherapy. The class costs $30, plus $8 materials fee. The Bronxville Adult School, 177 Pondfield Road.

Tuesday, Oct. 2

Bronxville School Bond Vote:  7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Vote on the district's $4.5 million capital improvement bond, in the Elementary School Multi-Purpose Room, 177 Pondfield Rd., Bronxville.

Afternoon Movie: 2 p.m. The Westchester Italian Cultural Center will show the movie Mal'occhio: the Evil Eye. Registration is required. It's free for members and $10 for non-members. 24 Depot Square, Tuckahoe.

Understanding the New Estate Tax Laws: 7 p.m. Learn about various techniques that can be used by couples to legally avoid estate taxes.The class costs $35. The Bronxville Adult School, 177 Pondfield Road.

Wednesday, Oct. 3

White Plains Farmers Market: 8 a.m to 4 p.m. Shop for fresh produce including meats, to produce, artisan cheeses and olive oil. Court Street and Martine Avenue, White Plains.

New Westchester Symphony Orchestra Open Rehearsals: 7:30 p.m. Rehearsals are free and are open to players of all abilities. 216 Central Ave, White Plains.

Thursday, Oct. 4

Intro to Philanthropy: 7 p.m. You will learn about the development and size of the philanthropic and nonprofit sector in America. The class is split into two sessions, and is free. The Bronxville Adult School, 177 Pondfield Road.
