BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – The Friends of the Bronxville Public Library will host “Looking Up: Exploring Life Beyond Motherhood,” a talk led by author and career coach Lauree Ostrofsky, on Saturday, Feb. 28, at 11 a.m.
“The first years (of motherhood) are the toughest. Then suddenly, as your children become more self-sufficient, your sense of self returns along with it,” says Ostrofsky.
Topics she will cover include figuring out what to do now once children are more self-sufficient, understanding when it’s right to return to work, how best to balance intellectual fulfillment and flexibility, and stepping toward a new career using your current skills.
Ostrofsky is the author of “I’m Scared & Doing it Anyway.”
To reserve your spot at the talk, call Joann Meehan at 914-337-7680, ext. 31.
