The concert, which promises to feature works from Bach and Mozart, is scheduled to start at 3 p.m. at the Reformed Church of Bronxville, 180 Pondfiedl Road, according to a press release. The concert is free and open to the public.
"Angelic voices, soaring strings, pulsing organ and hypnotic harpsichord: The Reformed Church of Bronxville presents a trio of sublime works by J.S. Bach and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in its annual Fall Choir Concert — free and open to all," representatives said in the release. "Minister of Music Dr. Sándor Szabó conducts the 30-voice Chancel Choir and chamber orchestra in Bach’s lively Cantata No. 140 ('Sleepers Awake!') and 'Der Geist hilft unser Schwachheit auf' ('The Spirit Helps Our Infirmities'), along with Mozart’s awesome Great Credo Mass. The hour-long concert, followed by a free reception, provides a warm 'time out' from a chilly autumn afternoon."
