The conference is open to serious writers looking to get their work published and will run from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on June 27 at Sarah Lawrence College, 1 Mead Way, Yonkers, N.Y. There will also be a chance for writers to pitch their stories.
Joining the literary agents at the comprehensive symposium will be major publishing house editors, as well as public relations and social media experts.
Interactive panels will discuss themes such as: How to Find the Right Literary Agent for Your Work; The Role of the Editor; Digital Publishing; and Promoting Your Book Through Social Media, PR, and Marketing.
Aspiring writers will also have the opportunity to promote their books to agents and editors in optional pitch sessions, for an additional $50 fee.
