Route 9A Reopens After Serious Accident With Fuel Spill

A stretch of Route 9A in Mount Pleasant has reopened after a serious multi-vehicle accident resulted in its closure of Wednesday afternoon.

The accident, which occurred shortly after 1 p.m., occurred at Dana Road and reportedly involved a truck with a fuel spill.

The stretch of Route 9A reopened by 2:30 p.m.
