Walgreens has agreed to a nationwide settlement with New York and federal lawmakers regarding allegations of fraudulent over-dispensing of insulin pens at Walgreens pharmacies. New York Attorney General Letitia James announced that an agreement has been reached resolving allegations that Walgreens knowingly engaged in fraudulent conduct when it dispensed insulin pens. Concerned Hudson Valley Sister Leads Cops To Man Who Crashes Into Six Cars
An unidentified, violent, out-of-control man was apprehended by police after a lengthy police chase which included the man hitting six vehicles, including three state police cars on I-91 in the New Haven area, police said. The incident unfolded early Monday when the man's sister phone New Haven police to report he was "out of control," and "needed hospitalization," said New Haven Police Officer David Hartman. Salads, Wraps Sold By Trader Joe's, Walgreens, Other Stores Recalled
Some salad and wrap products from several large retailers, including Trader Joe's and Walgreens, have been recalled due to concerns of Cyclospora contamination, the U.S. Department of Agriculture announced. The beef, pork and poultry salad and wrap products were distributed by Caito Foods LLC. The problem was discovered when Caito Foods received notification from its lettuce supplier, Fresh Express, that the chopped romaine that is used to manufacture some of their salads and wraps was being recalled.
