Duo Nabbed For Stealing Cell Phones From Verizon Store In Northern Westchester, Police Say Two men drove the wrong way on the Saw Mill River Parkway in Northern Westchester before fleeing on foot in an attempt to evade police following an alleged cell phone theft, investigators said. Officers from the Bedford Police Department were dispatched to the Verizon Wireless location on Bedford Road in Bedford Hills at approximately 6:40 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 6, where there was a report of two men who were stealing cell phones from the store.
