I-84 Lane Reopens After Disabled Tractor-Trailer Incident This story has been updated. The left lane on a stretch of I-84 has reopened after a disabled tractor-trailer was removed from the highway. The incident happened in East Fishkill at milepost marker 57, between Exit 58 (Ludingtonville Road) and Exit 52 (the Taconic State Parkway) just before 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 1. Traffic was reported to be backed up three to four miles. The tractor-trailer was removed just after 5 p.m. There are residual delays in the area.

Truck Crashes Into Overpass On Hutchinson River Parkway Traffic on the Hutchinson River Parkway was temporarily backed up around Scarsdale when an oversized truck struck an overpass. The incident occurred at Exit 21 (Weaver Street/Scarsdale/ Mamaroneck), when a tractor-trailer struck the overpass on Tuesday afternoon, May 7 at around 12:30 p.m. The extent of the damage to the overpass has not been reported. There was congestion reported in the area, as well as stop-and-go traffic, which was backed up to North Street. By 2 p.m., traffic was flowing normally.

One Hospitalized In Two-Car Crash On Route 6N One person was hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash on Route 6N in Mahopac Falls. The crash took place Friday, March 22, at Route 6N and Hill Street, said Jack Casey, spokesman for the Mahopac Falls Volunteer Fire Department. Carmel Police units were on the scene as fire units arrived. EMS began triage as fire police took over traffic, freeing up CPD to investigate the crash, Casey said. One person was taken to a local hospital for further evaluation.  As the vehicles were cleared from the roadway, fire police assisted with traffic.
