33-Year-Old Woman Murdered At Hamptons Resort Attended College In Westchester A woman who was found murdered at a posh Long Island resort had connections to the Hudson Valley. Sabina Rosas, age 33, was killed at the posh Shou Sugi Ban House, located in the Hamptons hamlet of Water Mill, on Monday, Oct. 28, according to Suffolk County Police. Covid-19: New Testing Site To Launch In Westchester A new COVID-19 testing site is set to open in Westchester County this week. New York Gov. Kathy Hochul announced that a COVID-19 PCR testing site will open at SUNY Purchase beginning Friday, Jan. 7. Testing will take place at the Performing Art Center, located at 735 Anderson Hill Road in Purchase. The site will be open for testing from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Appointments may be scheduled here.

Eighty-six police officers graduated from the Westchester County Police Academy on Friday, and will now join 18 law enforcement agencies in the county and two in Putnam. The graduates were celebrated on Dec. 21 at a massive celebration at SUNY Purchase. The 86 graduates come from the 146th Session of Basic Recruit School, and received their diplomas in front of a packed house from Westchester County Police Commissioner Thomas Gleason. Gunnar Hassard, 18, was arraigned in Harrison Town Court on Tuesday, Dec. 11, after as many as 16 posters were spread throughout the SUNY Purchase campus on Anderson Hill Road in Harrison on Sunday. The posters reportedly had images of Adolf Hitler and a swastika.
