Week-Long Ramp Closures Scheduled For I-684, I-84 There will be overnight ramp closures on I-84 and I-684 for nearly a week as crews continue a pavement construction project in the area. The New York State Department of Transportation announced that beginning on Monday, Aug. 6, there will be overnight closures of ramps on the interstates in Southeast. Ramp Closures Scheduled During I-84, I-684 Pavement Project Motorists are advised that overnight ramp closures have been scheduled as part of the ongoing pavement construction project occurring on both Interstate 684 and I-84. The overnight closures in Putnam County are scheduled to begin Wednesday, Aug. 1 and continue through Friday, Aug. 3, weather permitting.
