Former Officer Convicted In Killing Outside Westchester Deli Gets Parole A 53-year-old former officer who was convicted of killing a man over a parking spot more than two decades ago in Westchester has been granted parole. Off-duty NYPD transit officer Richard DiGuglielmo was involved in an altercation with his victim, Charlie Campbell, in Dobbs Ferry in October 1996 when Campbell parked in the “patrons only” section of DiGuglielmo’s father’s deli before heading across the street to a different eatery.
