The third-place tickets were sold at: Lucky Star Liquor and Winer in Nassau County, located in Bellerose, on Hillside Avenue. Smokes 4 Less in Orange County, located on North Plank Road in Newburgh. The winning numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a field of one to 69. The red Power Ball is drawn from a separate field of one to 26. The Powerball drawing is televised every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.

The third prize-winning ticket was sold in Orange County, at Newburgh’s Smokes 4 Less on North Plank Road, for the drawing held on Monday, Sept. 16, New York Lottery announced. Monday’s winning Powerball numbers are 8-9-11-27-31 and the Powerball is 17. Players can check their ticket on the New York Lottery website.

Another ShopRite In Area Scheduled To Close ShopRite has confirmed it plans to close another store in the Hudson Valley this month. On Thursday, Sept. 2, spokeswoman Karen O'Shea said the company has decided to close the Orange County ShopRite store in Newburgh on North Plank Road. "ShopRite Supermarkets, Inc. has made the very difficult decision to close the Newburgh store Sept. 18," O'Shea said. "ShopRite appreciates the loyalty of our customers and the dedication of our team of associates who worked hard over the years to serve the community."
