Father Killed In Crash While Riding Next To Son On I-684 In Northern Westchester
A 46-year-old man was killed while riding his motorcycle next to his son on a busy interstate highway in the region. The crash happened on Sunday, Aug. 11 just after 9:30 a.m., when a man lost control of his motorcycle on northbound I-684 near Exit 4 in Bedford, according to New York State Police. Beloved Glazier, Motorcycle Enthusiast From Westchester Dies At 36
A 36-year-old lifelong Westchester resident is being remembered for his passion for working with his hands as well as his love for his family. James P. Donovan, who lived in Tarrytown his entire life, died unexpectedly on Sunday, Sept. 17 at the age of 36, according to his obituary. Born in 1987, Donovan attended public schools in Tarrytown and eventually graduated from the Trinity-Pawling School in the Dutchess County village of Pawling. Massive $29.4M Recall Issued By Harley-Davidson Because Brakes May Not Work
Harley-Davidson is recalling more than 250,000 motorcycles that could cost the company upwards of $30 million after discovering a deficiency in its brakes that could cause them to fail. The voluntary recall includes more than two dozen bike models that were produced between 2008 and 2011 with anti-lock brakes. The international recall includes 251,000 motorcycles, with an estimated 175,000 of those sold domestically. It is expected to cost Harley-Davidson at least $29.4 million.
